For the past two weeks, I've been travelling through Sri Lanka with my two adult daughters. This is my first time visiting the country and my first time travelling with a tour guide. The three of us have very different expectations. I'm very interested in Buddhism. My eldest daughter loves sunrises on the mountains, and my other daughter is interested in safaris and animals. We were very fortunate to meet Kasun from Custom Lanka Tours, who responded to all of these requests with great empathy and sensitivity. And he knew how to show us the most beautiful places in Sri Lanka. He gave everyone what they wanted. Buddhism made me feel, allowed me to see sunrises, and the safari found the most beautiful places. He let us experience everyday life in Sri Lanka and taste the local fruit on the side of the road. He also told us many things about life, culture, and living in Sri Lanka. We met him as an extremely polite, friendly, charming, and humorous man who quickly formed a good group with us, and we never felt like we were travelling with strangers.
