Download ItineraryDay 1 Colombo Arrival
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport. Meet your driver and transfer to your hotel in Negombo or Colombo. Rest after the flight.
Day 2 Colombo → Sigiriya
Drive to the Cultural Triangle. Afternoon: climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress or visit a nearby village experience.
Day 3 Polonnaruwa & Minneriya
Visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa in the morning. Afternoon safari in Minneriya National Park (seasonal elephant gatherings).
Day 4 Dambulla → Kandy
Visit Dambulla Cave Temples then drive to Kandy via a spice/tea stop. Optional evening cultural dance and Temple of the Tooth visit.
Day 5 Kandy & Royal Botanical Gardens
Morning at Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens. Afternoon free to explore Kandy’s lake and markets.
Day 6 Kandy → Nuwara Eliya
Drive into the tea country; visit a tea factory and stroll through plantations around Nuwara Eliya.
Day 7 Nuwara Eliya → Ella (Train option)
Option to take the famous hill-country train for spectacular views (book early). Arrive in Ella.
Day 8 Ella
Short hikes to Little Adam’s Peak and the Nine Arch Bridge; relax in this laid-back mountain town.
Day 9 Ella → Yala
Drive southeast toward Yala, an area known for its national park and wildlife-rich landscapes.
Day 10 Yala National Park
Morning and afternoon game drives in Yala in search of leopards, elephants and abundant birdlife.
Day 11 Yala → South Coast (Tangalle)
Transfer to the southern coast for beach time and optional turtle hatchery visits.
Day 12 Galle & Unawatuna
Explore the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort and nearby beaches at Unawatuna or Mirissa.
Day 13 Leisure on the south coast
Free day for water activities, village visits, spa or relaxation.
Day 14 Return to Colombo & Depart
Drive back to Colombo for your international flight. Extensions possible.
